Meet the Parks and Recreation Director
Molly Curcuru
Molly Curcuru was hired as the new Parks and Recreation Director for the City of Richmond Heights and started Monday, January 11, 2021. Molly received her bachelor’s degree from Lindenwood University in Parks and Recreation Administration. She is an active member of Missouri Parks and Recreation Association and the National Parks and Recreation Association. She is a certified Parks and Recreation Professional and has completed many trainings and seminars in parks and recreation continuing education. She worked as a Recreation Supervisor for the City of Arnold for 13 years and as a Superintendent of Parks and Recreation for the City of Brentwood for the past 2 ½ years and has served these communities in a variety of capacities.
Molly is a strong advocate in the idea that parks and recreation services and facilities can enhance the quality of life and the health and well-being of people, community, environment and economy. She is excited to serve the community and looks forward to providing quality services that will ensure Richmond Heights is not only a great place to live but also to work and play! Molly is dedicated to serving the citizens and making parks and recreation the crown jewel of Richmond Heights. Molly is a Saint Louis native. While she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys. She loves swimming, cycling, hiking, fishing and kayaking. She is excited about the future of the department and looks forward to meeting you at THE HEIGHTS and at any of the number of events put on by the department throughout the year!
We are thrilled to finally introduce Molly to our community. She is a very charismatic, enthusiastic and vibrant individual. Along with many years of experience, Molly brings with her a new youthful and positive approach to our recreation department. We are certain to see great things come from her and our team at THE HEIGHTS in the many years to come.
