Aquatic Fitness Classes

Aqua Fitness

Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Sundays: 10:30-11:30 a.m.
This hour-long class set to music is guaranteed to get your heart rate up and work muscle groups you forgot you had! Join Charlie on an adventure as she leads you through the musical decades and genres, while mixing up the moves with a variety of equipment to ensure no two classes are the same. Modifications and alternate skills make this a great class for all experience levels. 

Silver Sneakers Splash
Mondays: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Thursdays: 9:30-10:30 a.m.
A fun, shallow-water exercise class that uses a signature splash-board to increase movement and intensity options. Aqua Splash is suitable for all skill levels and is safe for non-swimmers. The pool provides many benefits when used for aerobic exercise and resistance training. Classes may vary in skill level and routine given the instructor's preference. 

Aqua Tone
Mondays & Fridays: 9:30-10:30 a.m.
This class emphasizes muscle strengthening, muscle endurance, and increasing flexibility. It utilizes various pool depths and exercise equipment to provide resistance and focus on different muscle groups. Alternate skills and modifications make this a class for everyone, regardless of skill level. 

Arthritis Class
Thursdays: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
This low impact class is designed to increase range of motion, muscle strength, day-to-day function, self-confidence and self-care behaviors. Using some equipment, we plan to help reduce fatigue, pain and stiffness. This class is suitable for all skill levels and is safe for non-swimmers.  

River Cardio Tone - BEGINS 9.22
Fridays: 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
This high impact class is a full body workout in the not so lazy river. It is designed to build strength, balance and flexibility. A variety of aquatics equipment will be used to create various skill levels and keep each class unique.
