How We Are Transitioning into New Standards

On May 13, 2021, after the CDC updated its guidance on mask-wearing for those who are fully vaccinated, St. Louis County and St. Louis City joined other communities across the country in changing their public health orders. St. Louis County announced that those who are fully vaccinated (meaning they have received all necessary doses and waited two weeks) may resume activities without wearing masks or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.

While this pandemic was hard in many ways our staff at THE HEIGHTS has found its silver lining. Our management team has taken facility operations that were put into place during the pandemic and used them to construct new facility standards moving forward.

How are we transitioning into our new standards at THE HEIGHTS?
-Staff will continue their rigorous cleaning routines in order to keep our members and guests safe and healthy.

-For everyone's safety those working with children will continue wearing masks while indoors.
-We will keep additional hand sanitizing stations readily available throughout the facility.
-Face masks or coverings are not required, however, we are strongly encouraging anyone not fully vaccinated to wear a face mask or covering.
-While social distancing is no longer required we acknowledge many of our members and guests may still feel hesitant around others without masks on. For that reason we ask that everyone do their best to respect others personal space while visiting our facility.
-Please remember if you are sick or not feeling well to stay home.
-We will continue to accept only credit cards at this time.

What changes to expect at THE HEIGHTS in the near future?
-Temperature checks are no longer required.

-There are no longer capacity restrictions for any area of our facility.
-The lap lanes are back to their original capacity limit.
-Meeting room set-ups will now have seating at full capacity.
-Pavilions will now have seating at full capacity.
-Sauna and Steam Room opening date coming soon.
-Basketball can resume with no restrictions. Non-resident daily fees remain unavailable on weekends.
-We are expecting new equipment in August 2021. Machines will not longer be spaced for social distancing.
-Our Youth Fitness Room is now operating at full capacity.

As a reminder, on Saturdays and Sundays the facility is only open to members and residents of Richmond Heights, Maplewood and Brentwood.
