Mayor Thomson Declares State of Emergency

Citizens Academy

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the Spring Public Safety Citizens Academy was cancelled.

What is a Citizens Academy?  It is an exciting opportunity for residents to increase their knowledge about the workings of local government and to become more involved in the shaping and development of their community.

This year, we are hosting another Public Safety Citizens Academy, where the sessions will focus entirely on the Richmond Heights Police & Fire Departments. During these sessions, you will become CPR-certified from our Fire Department as well as experience a firearms simulator with the Police Department.

It is FREE and reserved for Richmond Heights residents and business owners.
